Epson Projector - RS232 Driver (ESC/VP21 Commands)

This driver uses provides a selection of Epson ESC/VP21 commands documented in ESC/VP21 Command User’s Guide, <ftp://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/3756/epson375633eu.xlsx>

The ESC/VP21 commands are applicable to a wide range of Epson projectors. Consult the above guide for the definitive list of commands for particular projector models. The driver was tested on an Epson EH-TW9100/9200.

Important Note: Projector commands may take some time to complete (e.g. Power On, Set Source) Installers/programmers should consult the ESC/VP21 Command User Guide regarding command transmission timing. Commands sent before the previous one has completed may not execute. This driver provides a Ready variable to indicate when the projector is busy or ready for commands.

This driver does not have an exhaustive set of ESC/VP21 commands. It has a selection that are most likely to be used by end-users with home automation systems after the installer has configured their system. There is also a selection of status variables that may be displayed on RTI two-way remote controllers.
